A President's abuse of power

http://www.prisonplanet.com/ron-paul-enters-evidence-of-bush-war-crimes-in-congressional-record.html

These are forms of abusing power. These are also the people we put in our faith and trust. What is it going to take to get you to become more self reliant? I'm not saying all police, teachers, politicians are all corrupt, but there are some that obviously abuse the power.

"Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely" (http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/absolute-power-corrupts-absolutely.html)

It's a shame that the main stream media is weak in relation to telling the truth. They have the power to be honest to the people. However, it has been proven time and time again that NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NY Times, Washington Post, and many others have dropped the ball in being honest with the public. Hell, right now, they're all lying that our economy is now recovering. My question is this...what is being done to recover? Are we putting tariffs on foreign goods? Did we make more manufacturing jobs? Have we brought back jobs shipped overseas? The answer is no! Nothing has been done, just the illusion that recovery is coming. This is unacceptable. Americans are not dumb, but we sure are treated that way. We seriously could recovery very easily by becoming more self sufficient. It can be done without relying on foreign oil or cheap slave labor from other countries.

We have oil we don't use, hence the high gas prices. We talk about environmental changes, yet BP oil is dragging it's feet cleaning up the mess in the Gulf of Mexico. We gave oil companies so much power, that BP oil was only fined a small amount for the spill. To them, that's pennies on the dollar. Our government has given them an infinite amount of power, to the point that no one was prosecuted for this mess. The CEO, CFO, COO, hell all the members of the BP chairmen of the board should be in jail. But wait a minute, didn't they contribute to Obama's presidential campaign? Absolutely! Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely!

The biggest abuser of power is not former kings or tyrants, but rather the Federal Reserve. They have single-handedly orchestrated the Great Depression (http://www.amatecon.com/gd/gdoverview.html), recessions, and current financial collapses (http://www.pennyjobs.com/pp/public/Articles.aspx?aid=361). Ron Paul is the Chairman of the Monetary Policy Subcommittee is looking to audit this fraudulent company. Did you know that the Federal Reserve isn't even a government owned operation? In 1913, the Federal Reserve Act was passed, allowing them unlimited control of our monetary policies. This to me was the day America's freedom died...December 23rd, 1913. The Fed has been in control ever since. Even when John F Kennedy challenged them, he paid the price 6 months later by being assassinated (http://www.john-f-kennedy.net/executiveorder11110.htm). Lyndon B. Johnson then repealed the act and gave the Federal Reserve their power back. No one has challenged them until recently with Ron Paul. Let's hope he can get some progress so we can learn the truth and find a way to stop this abuse of power from occurring ever again.

These examples of lusting for power is just another reason why we must learn self reliance. Not all people who we are suppose to trust are honest. This is why free will and free speech are so important. Free will allows us choice, Free Speech enables us the freedom of asking things to become more informed and more educated. We need to remove all forms of absolute power so we no longer have to live in fear. People who end up with this kind of power are prone to abuse it.

If you would like to learn more about how the Federal Reserve has corrupted us, along with other nations, watch this link...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPWH5TlbloU . It is a much watch, easy to understand, and very entertaining on top of it. Even my children could understand the lessons taught in this video (they are age 8 and 3).

Community and Unity...Why it's More Important Now Than Ever

Back in November, I had to grab some oil for my Saturn at Walmart. When I went to purchase the oil at the cash register, I seen above me a TV with Janet Napolitano on it talking about "See Something, Say Something." Here is the video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfmDjc24jYw). First thing that came to mind was "Why is this even here?" Seeing this didn't seem to sit right. So I went home and started doing some research on why this is even put up there.

An idea hit me as soon as I sat down. I decided to look up World War 2 Germany. Why would Homeland Security tell me to "See Something, Say Something" when this is common knowledge. Isn't Homeland Security about stopping terrorists? Why would terrorists go to Walmart? Then it hit me...this is something Adolf Hitler used to gain power and control the masses. This was promoting normal everyday people to spy on one another. Now why would we want that? It's one thing to be suspicious of a neighbor, it's another trying to spy on them, believing they are a terrorist. This just isn't right. It's bad enough we're getting molested in airports now by the TSA, now we have to spy on our friends, co-workers, and neighbors?

As this information was hitting me like a ton of bricks, I remember the quote from George Washington "United we Stand, Divided We Fall." Isn't this spying thing dividing us? Because it sure does feel that way. Why would our own country want us divided? This doesn't make sense. In fact, what Homeland Security is doing is violating the Constitution. The TSA is already violating the 4th Amendment. Homeland Security is attacking the 1st Amendment by labeling protesting as "low-level terrorism." Here is the link of the ACLU sending a letter to Gail McGinn, Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness http://www.aclu.org/images/general/asset_upload_file89_39820.pdf). So it is quite disturbing that this government agency is blatantly bashing our Constitution and violating our rights.

It is more important than ever that we stand together. Forget this spying stuff! I believe everyone has a right to protest something they don't believe in. I protested against Senate Bill 510 last year (which eventually passed as HR 2751 http://www.gop.gov/bill/111/2/hr2571senateamedment) where it gives the FDA unlimited power. I recommend you read the bill the judge for yourself. If we allow the spying to continue, we will lose more and more of our freedoms. You are more likely to get hit by lightning or even win the lottery than get hit by a terrorist attack. We shouldn't live scared. Living in fear is wrong. To quote the movie Hellraiser..."Fear is the mind killer." We are frozen in our thoughts and incapable of free thinking when we are consumed by fear. If our Founding Fathers lived in fear, would we have this country today? If Christopher Columbus lived in fear, would we still believe the world is flat?

All I ask is to open your minds, realize the environment you're in, and come to the conclusion that Community and Unity is what makes us stronger. Living in fear is not the answer. Feel free to post your comments, I'm interested in hearing what you have to say. Thank you for your time.
